How do I help my boyfriend?

A few years ago my bf liked this girl, she made him so happy and brought him out of his depression. They were friends but recently they've been fighting and now she won't talk to him at all. He sees her as his savior and can barely function without her. There's no way she will be friends with him again, so what should I do to help him?
